My name is Charlotte Cuenca, and real estate has been a part of my life since I was 16 years old. While most teenagers spent their spring breaks at the beach with friends, I spent mine attending real estate seminars alongside my brother, learning the industry from the ground up as his assistant. Those early experiences ignited a passion that would shape my professional journey for decades to come.

Over the years, I gained experience in virtually every aspect of the real estate business. I worked as a receptionist, transaction coordinator, escrow manager, and operations manager. I recruited and trained sales agents, managed transactions, and ultimately became a licensed real estate professional in both Florida and Arizona.

One of the most influential periods of my career was my time in Arizona, where I had the privilege of being mentored by two of the industry's most respected professionals, Helene and Peter Cass. Under their guidance, I learned the importance of professionalism, excellence in client service, effective listing strategies, and innovative marketing techniques. Their mentorship helped shape the foundation of the real estate professional I am today.

After more than 25 years in the industry, I witnessed significant changes in the market. As fraudulent practices became increasingly common, I made the difficult decision to step away from real estate and focus on my education. In 2008, I graduated from Arizona State University with a dual major. Although I was unable to pursue opportunities in my fields of study due to economic conditions and limited experience, the education further strengthened my business knowledge and professional skills.

At that point, I entered the insurance industry and discovered a new passion. For the past 17 years, I have dedicated myself to helping individuals, families, and business owners understand the importance of insurance protection. I take pride in educating my clients, simplifying complex coverage options, and helping them make informed decisions that safeguard their futures.

Today, I believe my unique combination of expertise in both real estate and insurance allows me to serve my community at a higher level. My experience has given me a comprehensive understanding of property ownership, risk management, and the financial decisions that impact families and businesses.

Now, after a 20-year hiatus from real estate sales, I am excited to return to the industry with renewed energy and perspective. I am supported by my broker, Ismar Maslic, and the entire Montalvo Realty team, whose knowledge and guidance are helping me quickly adapt to today's market trends and technologies.
